How to use this collection
Therapists often search EMDR together with a symptom, diagnosis or life event. That search does not mean EMDR has the same evidence for every presentation. This collection keeps PTSD evidence separate from extrapolation to anxiety, pain, grief, compulsive behavior, sleep, medical conditions and other concerns.
Choose the guide that matches the presenting question, then review differential assessment, risk, guideline context and outcome monitoring before considering a treatment plan. Pages explicitly name when evidence is preliminary, indirect or absent and point to established alternatives where relevant.
Questions to carry into practice
Match the evidence to the diagnosed problem rather than to a broad trauma label alone.
Screen medical, psychiatric and safeguarding risks before selecting a target or delivery format.
Define measurable outcomes and review points instead of promising a universal response.
